INTER -GROW COMPANY LIMITED With its Head Office in TEMA, provides superior agric and industrial inputs.
The company was established to bring quality but affordable products to the doorstep of industry all year round.It was also established to provide a one stop shop for all the needs of industries supported by effective support services for managing the implementation of good product utilization and management practices in the animal production sub-sector, serving both the domestic and the West African sub-region.
The company started operations on the 26 of November 2001 in a small office at Ashiaman Timber Market. We gradually went by our plans and from a humble beginning of a business worth USD 2,000.00 in 2001; we have grown today to become one of the leading Agro Input producer and Suppliers in Ghana.
Our growth pattern of 50% year-on-year has been consistent from 2002 to date.
Our total production capacity stands at 120 metric tonnes per day (120 MT/day) for raw soya beans. With our on-going expansion, we intend to increase our daily production capacity to 170 MT/day. Currently, we also have a Tank farm with capacity of holding 100 metric tonnes of Soya Oil at a time.
The current expansion projects being undertaken on our facilities would enable us to increase our production capacity to meet the growing demand for our products. This will also enable us to increase our storage capacity from the current 750 to 4,000 metric tonnes.
We have plans to put up an ultra modern 5 tonne a day vegetable oil refinery which will enable us add value to our crude soya oil to become high grade edible vegetable soya oil of superior quality for human consumption and for industry.
We pride ourselves on our proven track record for quality products and support services. This is due to effectively directing team members in the development of products and application of best practices in production environment to attain high quality standards in production.In addition, Inter-Grow Company Limited has over 15 years experience in agricultural commodities trading with a large distribution networks.

2OUR PARTNERSHIPOUR PARTNERSHIP:
Inter-Grow Company limited - through the assistance of USAID-ADVANCE program
have facilitated meetings between farmer groups, aggregators and nucleus farmers. This is to create a link between the farmer and the end user.
Such meetings have encouraged farmers to form associations and better improve their relationships with off-takers with great success.
Inter-Grow Company Ltd every year participates in PRE-HARVEST. One of the bigest agribusiness events in ghana organised by USAID-ADVANCE and GHANA GRAINS COUNCIL (GGC). The event allows for direct interractions between all the actors in the grains value chain. It is also a platform to share ideas and also complete supply deals.
Inter-Grow Company Ltd have taken full advantage of this platform and have increase the number of actors in our supply chain. This have made it easier for us to source our raw materials for production locally.
Inter-Grow Company Ltd has been criss-crossing the length and breath of Ghana paying working visit to farmers in the northern region where most of the raw materials for our factory are produced.
We have always been received warmly from the farmers. We have in turn shown our appreaciation by continually improving our working relationship with our neclus farmers and aggregators.
USAID- ADVANCE II through its office in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region facilitated a working visit to farmer based organistions in that part of the country.
This was an eye opener for our organisation.
We were surprised to know and expirience how extensive the Inter-Grow brand has become a household name and so common with our neuclus farmers and aggregators.
This was a humbling expirience and defining moment for our company. Since then, we have resolved to interract more with the farmers and consistently engaged them to deepen that trust they have repose in us.
We are strengthening this linkages and creating new ones.
It is our firm assurance that Inter-Grow Company is here to stay and also promote value and quality in the grains value chain.
When we take a working visit to places where active farming is been undertaken we do not just have meetings but we also visit our neuclus farmers field to have a fair idea of what they are doing and what the state of affairs is on the farms and their yield expectation.
We also share our business experience with them to encourage them to do more.
3CSR OUR CSR:
So in 2014/15 crop season Inter-Grow Company Ltd as his corporate social responsibility, supplied free of charge a number of table top scales of different form and sizes to our aggregators in Yendi.
We personally sent them to the farmers and also took it upon ourself to install the scales and educate our actors on how to use it. It was a very useful exercise which have increase the consciousness of our actors on the need to weigh accurately .
we did not stop there, we also procured quantities of industrial camry scales to some of our actors in Tamale, Yendi and its environs. The farmers were very grateful for the investment made into their operation.
We also provided training on their effective use and maintanance to help them help them take good care of the scales.
This donation we believe will go a long way to serve more than 10 agreegators in that community and facilitate their mobilization.
We believe this partnership is a win-win situation and we will continue to invest heavily in our actors and also assist them to be abreast with the latest trends in the industry by providing them timely information.
We are not going to stop here, we will be fashioning out new interventions and support we believe will go a long way to improve the lives of our farmers and collaborators.
